The London Eye

London eye, located on the banks of the River Thames in London, is the world's first and largest Observation Wheel by 2005, and is one of the landmarks and famous attractions of London.

The London eye opened at the end of 1999, when it was also called the Millennium Wheel, with a total height of 135 meters (443 feet). The London eye has a total of 32 cabins, which are equipped with an air conditioning system because the cabins are made of glass fiber reinforced plastics. Each cabins can carry about 25 passengers, and the rotation speed is about 0.26 meters per second, which is 30 minutes in a round. The London eye was built to celebrate the new millennium, so called the millennium wheel. Passengers can get a bird's eye view of London on the London eye. The London eye became a huge blue halo at night, increasing the fantasy of the Thames. The London eye also lights up for the British election in 2015.
